The FlexiBowl® is a flexible feeding system for robots that provides a wide variety of small parts efficiently and in the correct position. The parts are automatically recognized and transferred to the robot by a rotating disc and integrated image processing.

The parts scattered by the hopper system on the FlexiBowl® surface are separated from each other by the combined rotation and vibration movement.

Once the parts have been separated, they can be recognized by the vision system and the coordinates required for part removal can be transmitted to the robot.

The available command set allows the speed, acceleration and vibration frequency parameters to be varied according to the product geometry in order to achieve optimum results.

The cleanroom option is certified to ISO 14644-1 for use in ISO 5 class cleanrooms and at the same time retains all FlexiBowl® functional features.

FLEXIBILITY

Thespeed, acceleration and frequency of the pulses can be easily varied. As each part can be optimally separated, frequent production changes are no problem. The interaction of electronics and mechanics makes programming and reprogramming the software as easy as possible.

AUTOMATE FASTER

The AI can react in dynamic environments, so you don't need custom fixtures or jigs to keep everything in a fixed place. If you need to change something in the robot cell, you don't need to reprogram anything because the AI can still locate your parts and adapt to changes.

USER-FRIENDLY

Programming is easy to understand, even without any special technical training. Employees can operate the system independently from the first use. FlexiBowl® is ideal for frequent production changes, which can be carried out in a matter of seconds without the need for lengthy mechanical changeovers.

EASY TO PROGRAM

FlexiBowl® can be reprogrammed and enriched with additional options whenever the production line needs to be modified due to new market requirements or other considerations. The FlexiBowl® parameters are very easy to change.

COMPATIBILITY

FlexiBowl® is compatible with all collaborative and industrial robots that support communication via Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP/IP), Ethernet/IP or digital I/O. Plug-ins are also available for communication with the robots.

INTEGRATION CAPABILITY

FlexiBowl® is suitable for use in the production lines of numerous industrial and commercial sectors, as its optional equipment has been specially developed to offer customer-specific adaptations and perfect integration: Dispersion and deflection systems, cleanroom design, FDA-compliant and antistatic surfaces and much more.
